Dear Diary..

Yesterday, late at nite, I took out my pen and started a new diary entry.
It says -
"Dear Diary,
Life is unpredictable, eh? (: Now I wonder, 10 years down the road, will this diary still be with me? Where would it be? Thrown away? I hope not. And if I found it, read through it, how would I be feeling? I wonder.. What would I be thn? Have I succeed in following my dreams? Have I married someone? Have I gave birth to kids? How many? There are suddenly so many wonders.. questions of the future I have right now. What would Singapore be like, in the future?"

That was a short entry. Haizz. Whoa, this is the first time I posted about my diary entries. Well, maybe I'll post more in future. Well, after all, this blog is like a diary to me too(:

Don't you all just understand?

How I wish , people would understand wht my life is like. My miserable life. I thought some people would , but I'm wrong. They won't ever understand , because their life isn't like mine. I understand. Seriously, my life is getting ruined. Can't I even have happiness ; freedom? Can't make me happy, well , okay , I let it pass. But at least , can I have my freedom? Seriously , you all don't understand. You think my life is easy , lying around at home , doing nothing. That's all you think. But do you really know wht the hell I've been doing when you're gone? I've been cleaning the damn house everyday , washing my own dishes , clearing the trash. I have to do all these. MYSELF. You think all I do is lie around? When I don't study , you nag and nag. Now I am , you don't believe. I had enough. WHT DO YOU SRSLY WANT?! I had enough of trying to please you. 3 years. 3 years, I've been tolerating , hiding my pain from you. Do you even know tht?! All those times I've been crying alone , do you know about it? Do you even know, how much you've hurt me in my life? You say you understand me damn well. Do you? I don't think so. Do you know about the problems I have? I can't understand maths problems , and you scold , say wht I nvr practise maths , so don't know how to do. Like real. Why don't you try it thn? You think nowadays schoolwork is easy like yours last time? Sorry, it's NOT. Why don't you try being me? I'll let you feel how EASY my life is!

That Sad Story ..

Hey there. Sorry for not updating for so long. Been busy. PSLE's `round the corner. Gotta spend time studying. But also, during free time, I've been watching this sad show. It's a true story actually. It's about a girl named Kito Aya(July 19, 1962 – May 23, 1988) , a 15 year old Japanese girl who got this cruel disease called "Spinocerebellar Degeneration". So , abit of info on this cruel disease. Here are several symptoms of that disease [I'll make the words a different colour for you to see better].

Ataxia - This is a condition wherein an individual experiences an inability of the body to maintain basic muscle coordination. Like hand-eye coordination or even left leg-right leg coordination.
Speech Impairment - In this condition, the patient will have slurred speech, difficulty in speaking, incoherent speaking and aphasia (inability to comprehend language and speak in it).
Deformity of the Spine - Ordinarily, the patient will seem to have bad posture. It could also look like they have a hunch-back.
Irregular Movements - The individual will seem to have several spasms at irregular intervals. The spasms can vary in intensity.
Paralysis of Lower Limb Muscles - The individual will develop paralysis below the waist. The muscles of the thigh or calves can get temporarily paralyzed. However, the duration of paralysis can differ from patient to patient.

So , back to the story of Kito Aya. She wrote a diary about her personal experiences while suffering from this disease. Her diary is entitled 1 Litre no Namida (1リットルの涙, Ichi Rittoru no Namida?, lit. "1 Litre of Tears"). It was published in her native Japan on February 25, 1986, more than two years before her death at the age of 25. It's really sad. She's a great person, and she got this disease. She battled the incurable disease for 10 years and suffered both emotional and physical pain, which was subsequently stressful to her family as well. Her diary was later adapted into a film (2004) and then later into a television drama series with Erika Sawajiri portraying her (2005). And the drama series is what I'm watching right now. It's so touching and sad. I even cried watching it. So, those reading my blog. I hope you watch this show. It's really meaningful.
